Safety and Environmental Considerations

• There is a need for safety when working with chemical substances, tools, and heat sources.
• Adult permission and supervision is required when using any potentially dangerous or hazardous materials.
• Professor Pizzazz will review each student's materials list on the “Intent to Invent form to ensure no unsafe materials or other potential hazards are being used.
• Being an inventor demands certain responsibilities. Have respect for the materials being used, in terms of both safety and resourcefulness.
• The task of teaching this respect should be shared by both teachers and parents.
